Employment / InternshipsInternships The Center for UN Reform Education internship program offers graduate students opportunities to get an in-depth perspective on current UN reform issues on either full or part-time basis. Ideal candidates will be students of international affairs with a good knowledge of the UN system and a grasp of ongoing UN reforms. Candidates must have excellent research skills; demonstrable experience in editing and writing; good knowledge of computers, HTML and web site maintenance. Update (1 August 2008): The Center for UN Reform Education invites interested graduate students to submit their applications for the coming semester. Main tasks of intern: 1. Attend meetings at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on a variety of UN reform proposals. 2. Prepare notes on these meetings and collect related UN and Member States' documentation. 3. Assist with the preparation of interviews with key diplomats on UN reform issues. 4. Assist Center staff with relevant research on other ongoing projects. 5. Perform additional research and other tasks as required. Application deadline: 25 August 2008.
